Base: Vegan Yogurt
-Coconut Yogurt: one of the most popular vegan yogurt options available. Brands include So Delicious, Daiya, CocoYo, etc. Easy to find but low in protein. Sometimes the coconut taste can be quite significant, but it really depends on the brand. -Almond Yogurt: My favorite because it usually has more protein than coconut yogurt. Brands include Silk, Blue Diamond, and Kite Hill, which I like because they have a plain one with no added sugars (closest vegan thing to plain Greek yogurt I've found that's widely available). -Soy Yogurt: I haven't tried many of these but they are an option and are also usually higher in protein than coconut yogurt. |
Toppings:
-Fruit: My favorites include passion fruit, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, mango, pomegranate, and pineapple. -Crunch: Vegan granolas, muesli, coconut chips -Healthy Fats: Chia seeds, hemp hearts, almonds, pistachios, pecans, walnuts -Nut butters: peanut butter, almond butter, sunflower butter -Sweet: agave nectar, maple syrup, dark chocolate chips -Dried Fruits: dried cherries, raisins, dried cranberries, dried blueberries, etc. |
